Relationships, jobs,
connecting with the larger gay community, coming out, self esteem - these are just
some concerns and challenges many gay or bisexual men
experience. Talking often helps, especially with someone who
has been there and can relate to your concerns.
It's sometimes difficult for gay or bisexual
men to find someone who understands the special circumstances that
often go along with being gay. And for some, professional
counseling is not an option. Gay Men's Peer Counseling
group of Whitman-Walker Clinic, established by a group of
volunteers in 1976, exists to meet these needs.
